NICHOLAS SEVERINI

Nico Severini is the 10th soccer coach in the long and storied history of LMHS soccer. He led the 2010 Aces to a championship run, winning the 2010 District 1 AAA Championship while compiling one of the best records in school history with a record of 19 wins, 2 losses, 3 ties, along with a national ranking by ESPN and the NSCAA. Nico is currently a Spanish teacher at Lower Merion as well as a 12th grade advisor. Besides coaching LM, he is also a coach for the EPYSA State ODP program; the U17 LMSC girls' Charge (2010 PA State Challenge Cup Champion); the LMSC U8 girls Academy, and is an Assistant Director for World Class Soccer School. Nico attended the University of Pennsylvania and won an Ivy League title in 2002. Along with his 4 years playing at Penn, Severini has trained and played overseas at Club Independiente (Argentina), Club Liniers (Argentina), and Club Sevilla (Spain). To culminate his high school career Severini was named Central League player of the year in his senior year. He was also Pennsylvania All-State (2x), and Regional All-American (2x). Nico played his club soccer for the FC Delco Black. Nico holds a USSF National License. He previously coached the Plymouth Whitemarsh High Shool Boys' Varsity team
