June 5th 2009, Villanova University/ Lower Merion Class of 2009 Commencement

At the commencement ceremony for Lower Merion High Schools class of 2009 at the beautiful
campus of Villanova University, it was a time to recognize the hard work and commitment to
excellence of not only all the students graduating and beginning a new page in their life, but to also
recognize the hard work and commitment put forward by staff.

Soccer head coach, Jon Fadely this year was awarded  the prestigious Fritz Brennan Award. What
makes this award so meaningful to all those who earn it, is that it is voted on and awarded by the
student body to a faculty member who demonstrates extraordinary service on behalf of the student
body.

Coach Fadely serves as a physical education teacher, basketball coach and head coach of the
boys soccer team. Jon spends a lot of time helping the kids on and off the field. Jon constantly
checks on the kids grades making sure they are doing what they need to be doing in the
classroom, he helps them get into the colleges they want to attend, and spends a lot of time
helping anyone that needs his help. Going the extra mile, is the way Jon works.

Congratulations coach!!!!  Very well deserved!!!
