LM's Tyler Niles and Penn Fusion Academy Make
Outstanding run to National Championship Finals
July 31st: PHOENIX, AZ

After 4 games in the baking sun and desert heat, it came to penalty kicks
to decide the U17 Boys National Championship in Phoenix, AZ.

Senior Tyler Niles and his club team Penn Fusion Academy Celtic made
strong showing in the finals and all throughout the campaign for the
National title. The finals would be decided in penalty kicks, but Penn
Fusion showed amazing heart vs the Grand Rapids Crew Juniors from
Michigan, scoring to tie the game in the 89th minute of play. A 5-4 loss in
penalty kicks would give the Crew the National Championship.

Throughout their campaign, Penn Fusion would win the Region 1
Championship, EPYSA State Cups Championship, Region 1 Premier
League Championship, Potomac Memorial Cup and the Alliance Premier
Cup.

They maintained a national ranking of #1 throughout much of their
season., and ultimately would finish second.

Congratulations to Tyler and the entire Penn Fusion team (many of
whom play on other Central League teams) for an outstanding season!
