COACH MOYER PRESENTED
FRITZ BRENNAN AWARD
On June 9th at Saint Joseph's University Arena, the Lower Merion class of 2010 commencement
ceremony was held. Lower Merion said good bye to 12 of its soccer players and are glad to see
them move forward in their education, soccer careers and lives.

At the ceremony, an award is presented to a staff member that is voted on by the student body for
going above and beyond the call of duty helping and motivating students to do and be the best
they can. The coveted Fritz Brennan Award this year was presented to Freshman Boys Soccer
coach Mr. Dave Moyer. Moyer becomes the second Lower Merion soccer coach in a row to
receive this award, last year having it been awarded to Mr. Jon Fadely (the former head coach of
the Varsity boys team).

Mr. Moyer works tirelessly with students. His dedication can be seen in the class room, as well as
the field, pushing and motivating the kids to reach their goals and dreams.

Mr. Moyer is a current Chemistry teacher at Lower Merion as well as an Assistant soccer coach
and baseball coach.

The school district and the soccer team are very proud to have Mr. Moyer on staff and hope that
he stays with us for a long time.

CONGRATULATIONS COACH!!!!!!
