| Press Conference held for college bound Dolezal, Tassano and Aoyama. |
March 24th:
In the library at Lower Merion High School, a press conference was held for several student athletes
from all sports at Lower Merion. 3 athletes representing LM Soccer were at the press conference to
officially declare the colleges that they will be attending next year.
Introduced by former Head Coach Mr. Jon Fadely, the players all came up and said some words
about playing for Lower Merion soccer, what they had learned, the teams and people they had
played with, and the valuable lessons they will take with them to college and in life.
Julien Aoyama announced he will be heading to Amherst College, Jonny Dolezal announced he will
be heading to the University of Pennsylvania, and Max Tassano announced he will heading to
Carnegie Melon. All will be playing soccer at their respective schools and have continued to work
hard and train for their upcoming collegiate careers after the high school soccer season had ended.
The press conference was attended by friends and family of the players as well as many students
who showed up to support their friends.
